A Naval Aviator by profession, Derek has been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to see and experience events and locations that most people see only in headlines and movies.

By combining these opportunities with his love of photography, Derek hopes to convey the beauty and awe of the world around us: whether it be from the flight deck of an aircraft carrier, an exotic Far Eastern city or the American South West.
